NASA Temperature Change Map

Some how after the Copenhagen Summit gimmicks and many thanks to this cold winter in Europe everybody has forgotten about climate change. Its interesting to note that International Press has gone from daily dooms day stories, to IPCC bashing and now to a disquieting silence on climate change. Perhaps the only single positive thing from the Press in this economic crisis has been that total carbon emissions have slowed down due to the slowing of the economy!

Found this animated map produced by NASA online  .This color-coded map shows a progression of changing global surface temperatures from 1885 to 2007.  Dark blue indicates areas cooler than average. Dark red indicates areas warmer than average. The darkest blue is -2 C and darkest brown indicates +2 C change. You could check out some more interatives at the NASA website
